E-commerce For Everyone Creates Innovative Solutions For Amazon Associates
E-commerce For Everyone (E4E) is a small startup that has continued to gain attention for the development of niche e-commerce sites for Amazon Associates. Most Amazon Associates use the program to make links to Amazon in a blog or forum or other website. While this approach may work for some, it hasn’t worked for everyone. E4E has setup on a new approach that promises to deliver a whole lot more for Amazon Associates.
While E4E isn’t the first kid on the block to create an Amazon website, they are the first to offer their websites using the Software-as-a-Service or SaaS model. The application developed in PHP using other open-source technologies such as Linux, MySql and Apache, has been designed as a solution to the barrier of entry into the e-commerce space. E4E saw an opportunity to create value for it’s customers by leveraging the strengths of some of the best companies in industry to offer it’s clients cutting edge technology, that quite literally pays for itself.
The way the service works is quite simple. Following the basic premise of the Amazon Associates program, an Associate makes money or a commission, every time they sell a product on Amazon’s behalf. This can be done in many ways, but the most common is to generate a link to Amazon from which a visitor will click and make a purchase. Amazon uses a tracking id to determine the source of the sold item, and then compensates the associate according to their pay scale. Amazon Associates can earn anywhere from 4-15% commissions depending on the item and total volume of sales. Where E4E comes in, is that they provide a complete turnkey e-commerce platform so that associates can quickly produce niche shopping sites to brand and market.
Here are a few websites that E-commerce For Everyone has developed:
1. OnlineToolsandHardware.com - Focus on power tools and power tool accessories.
2. EcoFriendlyShoppingOnline.com - Focus on solar power, wind turbinesand green electronics.
3. WeKnowPhoto.com - Focus on digital cameras and camera accessories.
4. AllPhoneDeals.com - Focus on cellular phones and wireless accessories.
5. Consoles-store.co.uk Focus on PS3, Xbox and Nintendo Wii consoles.
6. StockMyOffice.com - Focus on office and school supplies.
It’s clear to see that a strong focus on design, usability and functionality come together to provide unique shopping experiences on the various sites. Even though the sites are using the same system E4E Amazon Storefront system, they each look totally different from one another, which is important when building a brand. Because the products for the sites come from Amazon, most E4E website owners don’t have to focus on non-revenue generating tasks such as product inventory, or order fulfillment, instead, they can focus on new customer acquisitions via marketing, and establishing a strong retail brand. 2008 has been called the year of the amazon associate, but I’m sure that 2009 will be even a better year. You might even quit your sales job and work as an Amazon Associate. OrderItOnTheWeb.com Gearing Up For Black Friday Sales
This holiday season there is fierce competition for sales as the economy struggles with the recession. The holiday shopping season is the last glimmer of hope for some retailers. This recession has put a strangle hold on even the largest retailers, just last week Circuit City filed for bankruptcy.
Getting visitors into the door is one thing, although getting visitors to become shoppers is a whole other task. The trick this year is the same as last year and the next few years to follow, provide outstanding value and service at competitive prices. That’s it. By using Amazon Associates program to provide the latest and greatest products on the market, we can be sure to have the relevant products this season.
Some of the other things we are looking at implementing for the holiday rush is the use of Amazon’s S3 as a content delivery network. This will effectively provide higher levels of performance in regards to site load times. Nothing frustrates a user more then a slow load time. By improving load times, we are directly improving our customer experience, in addition, because it’s on Amazon’s S3, we only pay for what we use, keeping costs low.
This year has seen the rise of Amazon Associates. I’d like to think it has a lot to do with Amazon being a super cool company to work with, but I’m hearing in many cases, that people just like earning commissions and working from home. Which ever one it is, I’m sure that we’ll see a huge improvement in the number of people working with Amazon in 2009.
In addition to using a content delivery network for better site experience, we are experimenting with new layouts and enhancements for our site, as well as a few bug fixes that have been lingering. We’ve been considering if we should increase the use of Ajax, but to be honest, I’d only like to use Ajax where it makes sense, and not just use it because its a hot technology.
I’ll be putting in some last minute changes to the site in the next couple of days, right before everyone starts winding down for Turkey day. Hopefully, some of our regular shoppers will be greeted with a nice updated on their next visit.
Just an fyi, I wanted to mention that I’ve got a new cell phone website up at this time. So, anyone considering getting a new phone for the holidays might want to use the new site, it’s called AllPhoneDeals.com. I’ve also been using a couple of other blogs, which is why I haven’t posted here as frequently, but you can definitely catch me at PuReWebDev.com and purewebdev.blogspot.com, I’ll be posting some black friday deals and some e-commerce news on these blogs, so feel free to check them out.
Back To School Shopping For Amazon Associate Retailers
This year, many Amazon Associates are getting their retail sites fit for back to school shoppers. Every year millions of students will need back to school supplies and clothes to go back in style.
I’m going to post a list of items associates should be featuring on they’re sites to increase sales and gain the vital search engine placement for these popular school items before it’s too late. This is my back to school list:
Hope this list helps some amazon associates out there. If you haven’t yet created an e-commerce site, you may want to check out the specialists at E-commerce for Everyone. They are the premier developers of amazon web stores, as can be seen by this impressive amazon associates showcase page.
Back to school is one of many major shopping events that retailers everywhere are preparing for. If you haven’t done so yet, don’t worry to much, it’s a shopping event that comes every year, and for colleges, several times a year. Several other major online shopping events that you can also prepare for are Halloween, Black Friday, Cyber Monday, Holiday Shopping.
Happy Selling!
Re-Kindle The Magic With Your Books Again
The Amazon Kindle is an electronic book reader designed for you to download books, magazines and blog posts wirelessly. It has a built in storage that would allow you to carry the entire contents of your home library in a single electronic device that easily fits in one hand. While it isn’t the first device of it’s kind, Amazon has certainly revolutionized the electronic reading market.

We’ve recently added the ability for our customers to browse and purchase available Amazon Kindle e-books from our site. When you purchase your Kindle e-book from us, it’s added to your account, and readily made available for download on your Kindle. I like the idea of being able to keep up with all of the blogs I’m interested in, in one single device that I can actually carry with me on my day to day tasks. If there’s one thing I hate, its wasting time, so when I find myself in situations where I have to wait on people, like in the mechanic shop, barbershop or airports, I can now pull out my Kindle, and read something worth while. Here are a few of the blogs on Kindle that you can purchase subscriptions to.
The Kindle has been in high demand recently, so much so that Amazon has run out of the devices on several occasions. Just the same way that the iPhone has revolutionized cell phones, and the iPod the mp3 and portable media market, I believe the Kindle is going to really disrupt the traditional book, magazine and newspaper industry. The Kindle doesn’t just make a great gift, but its just one of those kind of electronics that shows people you are not only a savvy consumer, but that you’re hip with what’s going on today and not behind the times (You don’t still have a vcr do you? lol).
Just remember, when you are ready to get your Kindle and or Kindle e-books, you can Order It On The Web.
